Terms of Service
Important details about your photography booking with us.
General
Editing
All photos are edited for basic colour correction. We do image processing (sharpness, contrast, brightness, saturation and enhanced using masking) and minor blemish removal. Our style is natural, so large amounts of retouching are not included.
Deliverables
All images will be delivered using a digital gallery, in full resolution.
From any shoot with us, you can expect:
At least 5 edited preview images, delivered no later than 1 week after your shoot date (usually on the same day!)
The final edited digital album, delivered no later than 8 weeks after your shoot date
Copyright & Usage
We will always retain copyright ownership of all images. You will be granted personal use rights for printing and sharing images online. Commercial use or resale of images is not permitted without our consent. We would like permission to use any images produced for promotional purposes (including but not limited to: website advertising, social media, brochures, magazine articles etc). If you would like to keep your images for just you, please let us know.
Photo Shoots
Payment
Payment is due in full to secure your date in our diary. All payments should be made on our online shop.
Cancellation
Notice of cancellation must be given in writing by email no less than 14 days prior to our agreed photo shoot date.
If the cancelation is made more than 14 days before our agreed photoshoot date, you will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
If you cancel in writing by email within 14 days of our agreed photoshoot date no refund will be given.
Elopements
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total agreed fee is required to secure your elopement date. The deposit is due upon signing your agreement.
The remaining 80% balance is due no later than 8 weeks prior to your elopement date.
Failure to complete the final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the services at the discretion of the photographer.
Cancellation
If you cancel your elopement photography services more than 8 weeks before your elopement, no further payment is required but the deposit remains non-refundable.
If you cancel within 8 weeks of your elopement date, the full amount is due and non-refundable.
If you’d like to reschedule your date, this may be possible if the following terms are met: the notice period is at least 8 months; the new date is within 12 months of your original date and we have your new date available. If your new date is unavailable, the deposit remans non-refundable.
If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll make all reasonable efforts to help you find an alternative photographer from our network of professional Elopement Photographers.
Weddings
Payment
